Customs clearance and logistics coordinator

A reputable chemicals company located in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia is hiring a Customs clearance and logistics coordinator to be responsible for the following:-

- To be responsible for the logistics process.
- To develop and create logistics solutions for the process which facilitating the operations and work cycle
- To develop a strong network of service providers for all the logistics activities in terms of the cost and service
- To establish a strong relationship with the related governmental entities.
- Improve the customs clearance process, avoid demurrages and detentions completely
- To ensure the immediate response always to suppliers, customers, and colleagues
- To act as problem solver and develop innovative solutions always whenever needed
- To have very wide knowledge of dealing with shipping lines and proven record of this by practical experience
- To show enough control to all the activities need Arabic language.
- To report weekly about the clearance status of all shipments with KPIs for the clearance time and ensure reducing this over time.
- To collaborate always with all colleagues and be able to work successful in a team
- To understand the nature of logistics job which requires timely communications and working overtime daily.
- To have excellent level of accuracy specially related to documentations and extensive experience about the types, nature, and requirements of the documentations.
- To ensure providing the excellent level of service to the customers in terms of communications, and working hard to meet their delivery times
- To give full support to the sales team all the time, helping them to focus only on sales and taking care of any other activity which could reserve their time
- To collaborate well with the warehouses in terms of receiving and issuing the materials according to the standard working procedures.
- To have very good IT knowledge to ensure feeding the ERP system with the right information and complete details always

Skills
The successful candidate must have the following criteria:

- Arabic language is essential and fluent in English
- Transferable Iqama is must
- Leadership attitude and ability to work in multicultural environment
- Age below 40 years old
