Job Title: DCS OPERATOR Salary Grade SAR 7,000 – SAR 9,000
Division / Department: Employment Type: Renewable
Report to: MANAGER Duty Hours: 8 Hours / Day, 6 Days / Week
Location : Jubail – KSA Experience : Minimum 4 - 6 years

PURPOSE
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
• DCS testing and functional test.
• Instrumentation loop test.
• Filling log sheets during commissioning and startup.
• Manage the alarms carefully and report it for any abnormality
• Carry out dynamic functional test as per the test plan for assigned system.
• Following LAB sampling result and take necessary corrective action if need.
• Safe and successful plant startup and shutdown.
• Assist operation sites in developing & documenting asset operation work process.
• Deploy asset operation work process data quality assessment.
• Communicate and coordinate with other departments
• DCS Operator must be conversant with reading PFD, P&ID and Isometric Drawings.
• DCS Operator shall have knowledge of DCS graphic.
• Certified for work permits by EHSS.4.4 DCS Operator shall possess Safety Watch
certificate.
Commissioning and startup Operators Activities:
• Witnessing all system hydro test, flushing and cleaning.
• Conduct motor solo run.
• Witnessing all chemical cleaning.
• Catalyst, resin and chemical loading.
• Collecting samples of different process.
• Start and shut down of equipment.
• Steam blowing/ leak test and run test.
• Collecting and recording process data and equipment data.
• Responding to equipment failure.
• Assist operation sites in developing & documenting asset operation work process.
• Safe isolation and preparation of equipment for maintenance.
List Of Process to be Commissioned and Operated:
• List of process to be commissioned in EO/EG area as well as Utility and Offsite system
as listed but not limit to below.
• Ethylene Oxide Reactors system.
• Ethylene Glycol Reaction system.
• Ethylene Glycol Purification system.
• Storage Tanks and Miscellaneous System.
• Boiler & Steam System
• Service water system
• Seawater & Cooling tower
• Waste Oil and Waste water system


Type Of Equipment to be Commissioned and Operated:
• Catalyzed Reactors (R-6110/6120) / un-catalyzed Reactors (R6150).
• Different types of rotating Equipment (2 Turbines, 9 Compressors, 17 Blowers, 176
****s, etc..)
• Different types of static Equipment. (1 Boiler, 24 Columns, 86 Vessels, 174 Exchangers,
56 Filters etc.)
• Storage Tanks and waste water system (52 Products & Utility tanks, 19 Sumps)
• All other type of communication devices and fire protection systems (deluge, F&G,

• shower & eyewash, paging, radio etc.).
Minimum Competence Requirement
• DCS Operator shall have diploma or equivalent degree.
• 5-8 years of experience
• Field Operator must be conversant with reading PFD, P&ID and Isometric Drawings.
• Field Operator shall have knowledge of SDS (Material Safety Data Sheet).
• Certified for work permits by EHSS.
• Field Operator shall possess Safety Watch certificate.
• Field Operator shall have diploma or equivalent degree.
