Requirements and skills • Perform welding using approved methods such as SMAW, GTAW (TIG), GMAW (MIG), and FCAW, as required.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
• Prepare materials by cutting, grinding, and fitting components before welding.
• Inspect welded joints to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
• Repair damaged metal parts and structures when required.
• Operate and maintain welding equipment and tools safely.
• Follow all company safety procedures and wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor.
Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Technical or vocational certification in welding is an advantage.
• Proven experience as a welder.
• Knowledge of different welding processes and metal fabrication techniques.
• Ability to read technical drawings and welding specifications.
• Good physical fitness and ability to work in demanding environments.

Job Description:
The Welder is responsible for joining, fabricating, and repairing metal structures and components using various welding techniques. The role requires interpreting technical drawings, ensuring high-quality workmanship, and complying with all safety regulations.
