Job Description:
• Database design and the ongoing support and administration of unknown running version
• MS SQL database troubleshooting and performance tuning;
• Installing and ******uring MS SQL, architecting, ******uring and performing backup and recovery operations
• Designing, implementing and maintaining MS SQL jobs, maintenance plans and DTS packages;
• Design backup processes for server and associated data
• Create accounts for all users and assign security levels
• Establish a disaster recovery protocol
• Provide end-to-end technical support and problem resolution
• Create database management procedures
• develop, manage and test back-up and recovery plans
• Tuning T-SQL queries to improve performance
• Deciding whether clustering, log shipping, mirroring, replication, etc are the right fit to solve a business problem
• Develop, implement, administer, document and maintain policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the company database
• Establish a disaster recovery protocol
Job Specification:
• 3 to 5 years’ experience as a database administrator
• Experience working with a variety of SQL Server version
• Experience planning and performance SQL server updates and experience recovering from disaster
• Experience in performing database backup and restores using full database backups
• Must have Excellent English Language skills
• Only Saudi National required
