Job Title: Operations Assistant

Department: Operations

Job Purpose:

To support the efficient and safe operation of offshore vessels, including jack-up barges, by
assisting in logistics coordination, documentation, compliance, and communication
between onshore and offshore teams. The Operations Assistant plays a key role in ensuring
operational readiness, regulatory adherence, and timely execution of marine activities in
alignment with company standards and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning and coordinating vessel mobilization, demobilization, and
operational activities.
• Maintain accurate records of vessel movements, crew changes, and operational
logs.
• Support procurement and delivery of supplies, spare parts, and equipment to
offshore units.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with maritime regulations, safety standards, and
company policies.
• Liaise with port authorities, agents, and contractors for vessel-related activities.
• Prepare and manage operational documentation including permits, certificates, and
reports.
• Track maintenance schedules and assist in coordinating technical inspections and
audits.
• Provide administrative support to the Operations Manager and offshore teams.
• Assist in emergency response coordination and reporting.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in offshore operations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Operations Manager.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, Logistics, Engineering, or related
field.
• Prior experience in offshore vessel operations or marine logistics is preferred.
• Familiarity with jack-up barge operations is a strong advantage.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office and operational software tools.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to dynamic environments.
• Knowledge of maritime safety and regulatory compliance.
